We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Junior Consultant (MS in Obs & Gyne) to join our team at a Maternity Unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology and be able to perform deliveries independently during night shifts. The Junior Consultant will work closely with other medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care to patients during all shifts, including the delivery of babies.
• Assess and manage pregnant women with high-risk pregnancies and perform necessary interventions.
• Evaluate and manage gynecological conditions such as abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, and infections.
• Order and interpret laboratory and imaging tests as needed.
• Prescribe medications and other treatments as necessary.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
• Collaborate with other medical professionals, including nurses, obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and pediatricians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and support.
• MS/DGO in Obstetrics and Gynecology from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the relevant medical regulatory body.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to perform deliveries independently during night shifts.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
This is a full-time position that requires the Junior Consultant to work exclusively during all shifts. The Junior Consultant will be required to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with frequent exposure to pregnant women and newborns. The position may require standing, walking, and bending for extended periods of time.
